Frequently Asked Questions
Is one battery sufficient for 36 holes?
The XL Lithium battery is designed for 36 holes – ideal for practice rounds or tournament days with two rounds. The larger battery is already included with the CT12 GPS EBS XL.
How does the EBS™ braking system work?
EBS™ automatically detects inclines and declines and regulates the motor brake so that your trolley maintains its set speed even downhill – maximum safety without run-off.
Do I need a subscription for the GPS functions?
No. All 40,000+ golf courses are pre-installed, with no subscription or annual fees. Course updates are free via the PowaKaddy App.
Is my existing accessories compatible?
Due to the new handle design, some older holders are not compatible. However, PowaKaddy offers specific CT12 accessories. MAG-LOK® Cart Bags fit directly onto the trolley without an adapter.
Can I operate the trolley without GPS?
Yes. GPS is optional – you can also use the trolley classically as an electric trolley with speed control and EBS™.
How much warranty is there?
2 years warranty on the trolley and up to 5 years pro-rata on the lithium battery. As an authorised dealer in Austria, we handle warranty claims directly.
