What is your handicap?

Good to know

What matters when it comes to Lakeballs

Handicap comes first

Tour balls only show their strengths at high clubhead speed. Beginners often benefit more from soft, forgiving balls.

Looks ≠ performance

The quality grade describes the visual condition. Signs of use have little effect on trajectory and spin.

Color helps

Yellow and colored balls are much easier to find in the Rough and in poor light.

Save smart

Those who lose many balls get the best value by playing Grade B – while also protecting the environment.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about choosing a ball

Which Lakeballs suit beginners?

Beginners generally play best with soft, forgiving balls in AAAA or AAA quality. Expensive Tour balls offer hardly any advantages at lower swing speeds.

Are Pro V1 Lakeballs worth it?

For low handicaps, yes: you get Tour performance at a fraction of the new price. For tournaments, we recommend AAAAA or AAAA quality.

Do Lakeballs play worse than new balls?

In qualities AAAAA to AAA, the playing characteristics are fully retained. The grades differ primarily in appearance.

How does the Lakeball finder work?

You answer four questions. Based on this, we determine the appropriate quality grade and show you balls from the collection for your handicap – with prices and availability live from the shop.
